The Egg Nebula, Imaged with an
AP 10" f/14.6 Maksutov-Cassegrain



This one proved to be really tough. It is bright in the center, but very faint in the extensions. I managed to
get the concentric shells without burning out the bright core areas by using DDP in Maxim. This also conserved
the star colors and gave them somewhat of a pastel look. 

Exposures - total of 1hr for L, 30 min each of RGB.
