The DEM files listed below are named after the 1:24,000-scale quadrangles that fall within the state you have selected. These data files are provided by the California Geographical Survey as an educational resource to the students and faculty of California State University, Northridge and members of the California State University System. They were produced by the United States Geological Survey and carry no guarantee or warranty as to their accuracy for fitness for any purpose other than instruction. Technical questions concerning digital elevation models in general or specific files should be directed to the United States Geological Survey.

All DEMs contained in this archive have been converted from their original native formats to Spatial Data Transfer Standard (SDTS) format.
