Space and Sound: Geographies of Music, Geographers who Play Music

Fall 2008

Part one of this special issue on music geography aims to move beyond the monopoly of the visual by expanding the way that music is thought about, theorized, and heard in geographical analysis. Part two goes even further by attempting to transcend the mismatched concept of writing about sound by featuring the music and commentary of geographer/musicians.
